Our German virtual classroom provides you in a sustainable way learning contents like in presential courses, but more effectively. I will send you the link to join and participate. During the lesson, we all see each other, and eye contact is always guaranteed. You see your classmates and me, the teacher. So, you can also recognize the pronunciation by lip movement what will help you to understand much better.
I share the virtual whiteboard as well as the exercise sheets with you so that you can always follow up the learning content. Don’t forget, all German students and I have our cameras on – that brings us together in our efforts to learn German online. Certainly, we all know the typical situation when the teacher writes something on the board, then generally wipes it out to write something new. Markedly, that is the advantage of online German lessons, namely that nothing gets lost. To be exact, the whiteboard is our Word document with all contents of a whiteboard being saved to be looked up later. After each lesson, I send you the Word file with homework. During the lessons, we also work with worksheets in Word or PDF format. These I send you for reviewing or as homework after our German lesson. Thus, you simply create a folder. How do we start our daily German lessons? Your German online teacher asks you about your daily routine, your weekend or your hobbies at the beginning of the lesson. This is also particularly important so that every student has his or her German speaking time and gets a chance to speak. It would be really a pity, if you only speak German in whatever way you want without really improving your German. In the end, this does you truly little good.
My method is based on discussing together your mistakes in German on our digital German classroom board. Then we will analyse our mistakes in teamwork. Do not worry, all students will make mistakes in German. However, we want to benefit from the mistakes of our German course colleagues to improve. It is not about speaking more and longer. It is about speaking German in a controlled and correct way. And that is what you learn with me either! The efficient way to define your wonderful strengths and even weaknesses in German giving you the right exercises to improve your German.

If you do exercises from our German book, you can often correct on your own using the solution key in the book. However, if you compose your own email or a few sentences yourself, you will of course need the teacher – i.e., me.
How do we correct homework in face-to-face German lessons?
Having several German students, it can be very time-consuming if I go to each student’s table and correct. That is why I recommend writing less content, but content addressed. Take your time to think carefully about what you want to write in German and put content straight.
How do we correct our German homework in the virtual classroom?
You send me your own letters, emails, WhatsApp, descriptions or essays in advance so that I can then share and correct them together during our German online lesson. Afterwards, you will receive the correction back so that you can retrace your mistakes. Of course, this requires that all documents be digitized in Word format. Unfortunately, we cannot work with handwriting in our German virtual classroom.
