Curriculum vitae and image of BK Translation’ translators

Translators are skilled professionals with university training or education which allows them to work exclusively as such.

Here there are also professionals from other fields who, thanks to their education, have been trained to work as translators. These people include, for example, engineers, scientists, IT experts, lawyers, doctors or other professionals with a university degree who, thanks to their second training as a translator (master), can work as translators.

First and foremost, BK Translation recruits specialised translators that can tackle a translation in an erudite fashion and who are aware of the responsibility involved in the work they deliver.

A specialised translator works exclusively in translation or combines it with the job of interpreter, and ultimately takes their own decision as to their flexibility when making themselves available for a certain job.

The use of the professional name of “translator” is not yet protected at international level. Numerous professional associations have sought protection in order to be able to convey a positive and professional image of translators’ vis-à-vis their clients.

Translators are language professionals who have mastered at least two languages, and sometimes four or five, perfectly, and are capable of translating complicated texts.

Translating means understanding the contents of the text according to the context and establishing the relationship between both, translating competently into the native language in the field in question and, of course, having full mastery of the spelling rules and syntax of the target language.

The profile of the professional translator may be likened to a good wine: the older they are, and the greater the experience, the better the translation.

Growing old in the field of translation after leveraging lifelong learning has advantages the client can benefit from.
